Last week our Year 10 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students had a practical lesson entitled ‘Dietary Goals/ Guidelines’, which followed several theory lessons learning about Vitamins, Minerals and healthy eating. The students had to choose a dish, modifying it to make it healthier and then evaluating the nutritional value of the ingredients, before preparing, cooking and displaying their dish.
