Our exceptional Year 10 excelled throughout the league this year, often playing games without conceding. As a result they played in the final of the cup this evening against King’s High School. Our first quarter was difficult as it took us a little while to get going, but then for the rest of the game we matched our opposition goal for goal in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter. The girls fought right till the end, but unfortunately the lead the was gained in the 1st quarter could not be closed, the final result 19-14 to king’s. The team should not be disheartened though, as for the majority of the game, they were more than a match for the opposition. Well played everyone!
