On Wednesday, the year 11 netballers went across to Kingsley to play in the emerging schools tournament. We entered two teams, one in pool A and one in pool B. 

The first Southam team played Aylesford, Kingsley, Kings High and NLS. This was a team which was full of experienced players but most playing slightly out of positions. It’s hard to pick a standout performance as they gelled well together as a team and won 4/4 matches. They dominated the competition from start to finish but did it with style and stayed humble. 

The second time, starting with a cracking win against Aylesford with Phoebe and Amelia shooting strongly. Unfortunately, they narrowly lost to Myton and Kenilworth but continued to battle strong. They had a play off match for 3rd/4th place in which they secured 3rd beating Aylesford again.
