Thomas plays for Old Laurentians and was selected to play for the Rugby & District squad in Jan/Feb of this year after a selection process involving all clubs within the Rugby, Daventry and Lutterworth District. This allowed him to represent the district over a number of weekends against other districts within Warwickshire. These games where attended by Warwickshire county coaches looking for players to join the counties U17’s team. Thomas was selected by the county coaches to attend a number of development sessions and from this he progressed to the full Warwickshire U17’s squad. Warwickshire U17’s played their first game this weekend against a combined Nottingham, Lincolnshire and Derby squad. Winning 30-25 against a tough side.
